They’re similar but not identical. Concierge medicine typically layers on top of insurance and often charges higher fees. DPC is designed to be affordable and insurance-free, with transparent flat-rate pricing.
DPC covers your primary care needs, but it is not a replacement for insurance. We recommend pairing your membership with a low-cost, high-deductible health plan or health-sharing plan.
DPC does not cover specialist visits, hospital stays, surgeries, ER care, or imaging like MRIs and CT scans. Your health insurance policy may cover those costs.
